Welfare Review Unit
The OCM, through its partnership with Metro Social Services and Welfare Review Unit, shall independently investigate the care management provided by the conservator for the health, safety, and welfare of individuals for which the conservator has assumed fiduciary duties.
The review conducted by the OCM shall not in any way alter, amend, or replace any of the responsibilities of the conservator to fulfill his or her fiduciary duties, or the responsibilities of counsel in his or her representation of a party.
Financial Investigative Unit
The OCM, through its Financial Investigative Unit, shall independently investigate the asset management provided by the conservator for the financial health and betterment of a conservatorship estate for which the conservator has assumed fiduciary duties.
An audit or review conducted by the OCM shall not in any way alter, amend, or replace any of the responsibilities of the conservator to fulfill his or her fiduciary duties or of counsel in his or her representation of the parties.
